A vintage haven

Letting you in on a little secret of mine today, Haven Vintage. There’s nothing quite like exquisite styling to make you want to buy things, especially yummy vintage goodies. Love old things which have had a bit of wear and tear and love. I sound like a Granny when I say this but its true - they made things a lot better and a lot more attractive ‘back in the day’. Okay, at least I didn't say 'back in my day'!

Okay, hands up who’s feeling cold at the moment? I’m trying to keep warm but it’s proving harder than I thought. Mum sent me a link today to a great local website called Woolovers that sell good old British wool jumpers, will have to check it out!

I think I may need your help today...I'm trying to update my facebook page with my posts but only the pictures come up, no text. I can't believe how incompetent I'm being but it seems to be very confusing configuring it all. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you! :)

Pretty in vintage

Some pretty vintage inspiration today. So beautiful. Now I have some 'thanks yous' to say to Mariska from I used to be Snow White but I drifted, Simone from Honey and Fizz and Michelle from Paper Tree Studio for awarding me the Stylish blogger award! :-)

So as part of the award I have to say 7 things about me. Okay, here we go:

1. I have fantasies about running my own shop/cafe/B&B one day!
2. My Dad is very similar to Phil in Modern Family ;-)
3. I'm turning 30 this year. EEK!
4. I'm trying really hard this year to not panic about point 3
5. I have bowed to social media peer presure and linked my blog to facebook (!?@?). Please 'like' me if you do :-)
6. I love Jaffa and Tunnocks tea cakes (they remind me of home)
7. Mr Cornflake and I are planning to start a family next year :-)

Certainly puts a strong case forward for putting china on the wall! (Yes, I realise I'm quite wall obsessed at the moment!! :-) )

As usual, I’m very excited about the imminent arrival of the weekend, I think I’m going to try and cram in as much as possible as I have lots of little odd jobs and ends to tie up which never get done during the week – I know I’m probably not alone in this!

The sun is shining and I’m so excited that spring is only 5 days away!! Have a great weekend everyone!
