Sweet treats

This afternoon was all about basking in sunshine (although in scarf and wooly jumper), sipping tea and eating macaroons - lime kaffir and sugar palm. Yum! Today I'm missing my gorgeous cousin Laura's wedding in Surrey, England so am sending her lots of best wishes for this very special day. I know she will make a beautiful bride and I cannot wait to see the photos!

Right now I'm rugged up on the sofa watching Midsomer Murders (what happened to Downton Abbey?) and about to sink my spoon into a tub (full size of course) of Ben and Jerry's Phish Food - which is without a doubt my favourite. Hmm yes, the health kick resumes tomorrow...

Hope you're having just as sweet a Sunday!

  1. Now that's my kind of Sunday for a cold day! Glad you are enjoying it! Have a wonderful (warm) week.

  2. Those macaron look lovely. I ate lots of junk yesterday too, mainly jelly snakes and also wondered what happened to Downton Abbey. Hmmm...
I'm sorry you're missing the wedding, maybe you can show us a pic when you see them ?

  3. I have been eating far too many sweet treats lately and am paying for it :)

  4. That sounds so good... and looks gorgeous! I just used up our downloads on downloading Downtown Abby... Oops! You know what I'll be doing next weekend! Ha! X

  5. Looks delicious! Glad to hear about your wonderful weekend. Have a lovely day, Kellie xx

  6. Sounds like a perfect, relaxing Sunday!
I hope your week is going well too!

  7. Your sweet treats look amazing. If only I could taste some...maybe when I fall off the wagon. Until then can you have a bite for me!

  8. oh, yum! happy weekend to you, anna x

  9. Yummy dish, I sure it is chocolate flavor. I also cook same dish, this shape of sweet on my birthday, but it was strawberry flavor. you remind my old days.
