Wardrobe musings

Having Sex and the City back on the big screen has made me rethink my wardrobe, along with 3 million other women I'm sure!!

Completely cognisant of the fact that my options are limited when it comes to having a walk in closet (how cool would that be?) I can only wish I could have one like the above or indeed room for a magnificent display of clothes, sigh!

One thing I do, do though which looks quite pretty, is colour match my outfits so my wardrobe looks like rainbow!

Has SATC made you think again about your wardrobe and do you colour match your clothes like I do?

    Oh My so jealous right now ...love it .actually i do color match my clothes but then magically it turns back rainbow as well, have a great day and guess what i had a tiny little bit of sun today and now it gone:( XXX

    Not really inside the wardrobe, but when I do the laundry and hang the clothes out it turns into a bit of a styling assignment. This has been noticed by my six year old and my neighbour made a comment once.
    I'm enjoying the sunshine today! Never thought we would see it again. Hope you're having a good week.

    I like these pictures because they look like a collection instead of a wardrobe. This might work for the SATC ladies but not for me. Wornout sneakers and wornout jeans just don't fit into the picture but i'm afraid they are part of my wardrobe:) xx

    So glad that you came to visit Normandy today because it means I get to travel once again to Sydney, one of my favourite cities. We have family who live in NSW.
    I would say that I am most definately not a SATC kinda gal, just wouldn't work in rural Normandy!!

    I have a small walk in wardrobe that I have to confess is a total mess!! I saw SATC2 on Sunday and it is my weekend mission to get it looking more Carrie like!

    Yes! I would die for a closet like Carrie's! Kind of makes me want to remove my closet doors so i can see everything. Love the top picture! That closet is gorgeous!

    Definitely. But i'm pretty sure the organizing part isn't happening soon. However, I found myself shopping excessively lately after I watched the movie.

    I would luuuuuuuurve a great closet like that. I used to have a small walk in closet in our old apt and it was great! Hope you're having a great week Anna. Jxx

    I love these images!! One day I hope to have a walk in closet. I *kind of* sort my clothes by color, I'll put all tank tops together, then tee shirts, cardigans, dresses, etc...Then within each group I *try* to keep them sorted by color...lol, I LOVE organizing!! You have a great blog here :)

    Sometimes I color match, and sometimes I don't. I don't know why I'm not consistent with this! Love these closets! I've always wanted a chair like that purple one in my closet space. It would be so nice to have!

    I try to colour match but does not last long...I just need a bigger closet..my clothes are all smushed together...I would so love either one of these! xoxoxox

    That first image is amazing - I love the chandelier and that ruffle bag too! I have my wardrobe in sections like skirts, jackets, dresses and try and keep colours together within those sections. However, I currently need to have a good throw out of my clothes as there are heaps of things I haven't worn in ages taking up valuable space.
