Thrifty Tuesday

I bought this vase some time ago for $7, again from the local charity shop. I can't quite put my finger on the style nor the country of influence, any guesses?

This vase though perfectly demonstrates that I don't have one partioular style, I just buy what I love and hope it comes together!

Hope everyone is having a good start to their week. Can't believe England got smashed by Germany the other day! Whoopsie daisy!
xx

  5. Lovely vase Anna. A sense of freedom incorporating an eclectic sense of decorating style don't you think?

  6. I'm not so good at identifying origins or influences, but I do know what I like: and the vase is very pretty. Like you, I select things I like and put them all together in hopes there is flow vs. clutter. I think Nate Berkus gave that tip once.

I agree that it's best to buy what you like and hope it all comes together in the end!

  10. An adorable vase! I keep looking at it, and nothing is coming to me as far as what style it could be. The little design around the top looks a bit Asian. I am not sure though. It's cute whatever it is!

  12. Hey Anna! I've used quite a lot of cameras. All Canons. Sadly, I took these about a year ago. I'm not quite sure which one I used to take which photo. I have the Canon 40D, Canon 500D, Canon Powershot A2000is, and the Canon 50D. It really depends though on what lens I use. I often use my Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 and a Canon 85mm f/1.8. I'm really boring you now. If you need help with what camera to purchase, I could give you a few notes here and there. =) Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.

Oooh, and as for the vase, it's fabulous regardless where it came from. Have a great week ahead!
