I love colour (if you haven't already guessed!). One of the ways I have achieved colour in my home, short of painting my walls which sadly isn't an option as I rent, is with fabric. Cushions, throws, table cloths, even framing fabrics! Even though I seem to be endlessly buying things [at next to nothing, so I buy more of course! ;-)] I am still amazed at how long it takes to build a look. It really doesn't happen over night! Loving this room above, a perfect example of how I'd like my place to look and also loving the colourful china!
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend, we had a really sunny mild day yesterday. I wore a dress and small cardi and was perfectly warm, wow!!! Maybe summer is upon us....?

I LOVE colour too...it brightens up anyone's day. Sadly though, not enough people use it and stick withe the black and white at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI am so with you on the colour thing Anna...bring it on. In fact I bought two hot pink and black persian rugs this weekend...completely OTT and I love it! Can't believe you wore a dress...it was miserable in Canberra :(
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of too many bright colors in my house. However...if i see it in somebody else house iloveit. Just too chicken i guess. Check out my old VW camper, that's where i will use some colors. Have a happy, happy week.

Oh that room is so colourful and makes me happy, it works so well too. I too love colour, I hate when I'm clothes shopping in the winter months and it's all dreary dull dark colours in the shops. Not good! Thanks for sharing.
