my dressing table

This is how my dressing table looks this morning. Another old reject shade I've 'disembowled' to hang my flower hair grips on and earrings. There's no bulb in there at the moment as it's on my to do list to buy a low watt one (since there's no shade).

My collection of bowls is growing by the minute so I don't have room for much else on here like practical things: moisturiser, hairbrush, perfume, make up, handy toiletries (they're all relegated to the bathroom cabinet which is ok I think!)

I've always been like this, beauty over practicality! Are you the same?

    Completely the same. My bedside table has a drawer so that's where all the practical stuff lives!

    Gorgeous image. I have bowls too, and I do what Kerry does and have the practical is a drawer. Love the lamp.

    Oh I am with you ....I hate practical things all over the place...they are only displayed if they look good...no,no, no everything is away,used, and put away again...only the pretties out for me....Love those bowls Kym X
