Pretty enough to eat


Simple and easy - that's how I like to cook, hehe. So when I was at the garden centre and saw all these potted pansies I had a brainwave for a cake I was making. Decorating took 2 minutes (cut and washed the flower heads with lots of water) and my cake looks so pretty now, I don't know if I can bare to ruin it.

While pansies are edible these ones will be spared/saved to float in water with some candles later - I'm such a girl, lol!

  2. They are so gorgeous. I grow violets for the same reason...pretties up a salad and a cake! :)
