Picture me here

{Image 1, 2, 3}

Oh I can definitely picture me here! I think filling a wall with either frames alone or canvasses, black and white portraits or an electic mix of art is just wonderful. It really creates a feature in a room.

I've always wanted to do this along a staircase with lots of frames of different sizes and styles with a mix of photos, fabric and art. In my family house (which is a big haunted house back in Warwickshire, England - spooky!) we have a collection of family portraits lining the wall along the stairs. I love looking at it although I guess it's a little distracting and I can loose my footing sometimes!

Wishing you a lovely day everyone!

  1. really love that second setup! I kinda did something like this on one wall of our new (rented) house, but i didn't have that many photos 'n' art to work with. I think it would look great a little more crowded!

  16. I adore this idea! I like the first image and how all the artwork seems so mix matched, but I love it. And I love hanging a canvas up without framing it. Something about it in it's raw state is nice, rather than having a polished, complete look with a frame too.

  19. Hi,

    I could easily picture myself in that bed...blogging, of course. I also like you picture ideas. I have a staircase, and old family pictures... so what's stopping med? Concrete is. The wall is made of concrete. Sigh.

    Really like your blog, will gladly come back for inspiration!
